Soup Stock from Chicken Backs
Howdy Howdy {{ subscriber.first_name }}! Last week we introduced to you the chicken pot pies, and today I've added a few more NEW items to the store! Ground Chicken Rope Chicken Sweet Italian Sausage Chicken Chorizo Sausage MINI Chicken Pot Pies and Chicken Backs! What are chicken backs? Chicken backs are the core of the chicken that is left after the breast, wings, and legs have been cut away for parts. These large 4-5 pound bags of chicken backs are perfect for making nutrient-dense soup stocks easily. Because of the way we raise our birds they are nutrient-dense. Lots of sunshine and fresh outdoors makes them a seriously great soup base that you can feel great about cooking with! Our chicken backs are fairly meaty and are best used to make broth. Check out the "how-to" recipe:
Classic Beef Stew
~4 hours of cook time that you don't even need to be around for! The perfect dish for a cool fall day- this old-fashioned beef stew recipe will have your beef tender and falling apart, hearty vegetables, and a thick broth. What is so fun about this recipe is that you don't have to use the exact vegetables each time or a specific amount-- Lord knows I don't! I view recipes as "general guidelines" or as Rob says- "gets me started with an idea and then I throw the recipe out the window".
Super Easy Chuck Roast
A Recipe You've Got To Try! We have this for dinner quite often, especially when my sister, her husband, and two girls come over. It's easy to throw together fast, feeds an army of people, and ohhhh soooo good and tender! You don't even need a knife to pull it apart- just your fork. Two chuck roasts feed 7 adults and 4 little munchkins very easily (speaking from experience).
Oven Roasted Pork Loin with Apples
This recipe works with a pork loin, tenderloin, or sirloin roast. Feel free to jazz it up however YOU like it! Recipes are only guideposts anyways! Squash and other seasonal goodies also go very well with pork.
Roast Beef Sirloin Tip and Gravy
Now that the chilly weather has arrived, it's time to get serious about roasts. Stock your freezer with our delicious roasts and be ready for the next family gathering or dinner with friends. This could be any roast but here we're featuring the Sirloin Tip Roast. It's the perfect dish to create when you want leftovers for the family the next day or the next time your friends come over to play cards. Go ahead and add lots of your favorite veggies!
